Am i burning oil and if so how do i fix it?

my 95 dodge ram loses about a quart of oil in a week, there are no leaks but the exhaust blows out white/grey smoke. I put stop leak/stop smoke in oil, and put a liquid additive in radiator cause i thought i had a leak. what can i doAm i burning oil and if so how do i fix it?
lucas engine additive ,you could try it ,it should slow the burning down.If not engine overhaul.Am i burning oil and if so how do i fix it?
If it only smokes when started most likely the valve stem seals have either worn out or worked themselves up off of their correct location. If you constantly burn oil I would first pull the valve covers to see if the upper part of the cylinder is full of sludge keeping the oil from running back down into the pan. If they are reasonably clean you may have a piston ring problem.
rebuild the engine ...piston rings are worn out
