i was told today that my car eclipse my oil pressure is very low its around 11 psi when it should be around 45 psi how can i fix this or i need to rebuild the motor.How to fix oil pressure?
before you go replacing any thing you should do more testing to see where the problem lies. low oil pressure is the result of many different situations, like low oil level, a pressure relief valve sticking, worn bearings, i could go on, but all of the listed situations and many of the other possibilities have different solutions.How to fix oil pressure?
You might not have to replace motor , but it will be a chore to fix . If motor not bad because of oil pressure yet , you could replace the pump . Only thing is with that car you will have to pull the motor . And then there is the chance it might not last long . So decision is , since motor is out , why not replace with another anyway ?
