Any quick fix for minor engine oil leak?

I'm currently selling my Jaguar and it has a slight oil leak. The problem is when I run the heat/AC and the car is not moving you can faintly smell burnt oil inside the car. My mechanic says it's very minor and since I'm selling the car it doesn't make sense to fix. I want to know if there is any quick fix such as adding something to the oil that would seal minor leaks.Any quick fix for minor engine oil leak?
Since you want to get rid of it so badly cover up the leak with tape and pray they don't turn on the HVAC by the time they find out its leaking the heat from the engine would have melted the glue holding the tape, therefore eliminating the evidence linking you to having knowledge of the oil leaking and trying to repair it.

Then again you could always tell the truth. If its so minor they probably wouldn't mind fixing it.Any quick fix for minor engine oil leak?
No, do not use any of those oil additives for sealing up leaks. They clog ports in the engine and cause premature wear to vital engine components. Its best to just have it fixed properly. You would be creating a world of problems for the person buying your vehicle.
my car did that too until i changed the valve pan gaskets. the oil was leaking down on the manifold and smoking. but if your selling it then try snugging up the bolts in the valve pan.
