Help! Basement has an oil leak this am right where the oil comes up to the coil for the burner? Any fix hints?

Found an oil leak this morning from the copper tubing where the joint is...is this something that warrants a service call or something we could take care of?Help! Basement has an oil leak this am right where the oil comes up to the coil for the burner? Any fix hints?

Turn of the valve at the fuel tank,gently tighten fitting where leak is,test.If it still leaks you could disconnect fitting and put some teflon tape on it or pipe stick(from any hardware store,even walmart).tape threads and tighten.


Valve for in house tank at bottom of tank where line comes out,outside tank above ground the same,buried tank should be where line comes into house,good luck.
