1997 heritage softail-- NEED HELP URGENTLY!! Im havind a problem with oil leakage from the top enr of heads when I look down from the top it appears that oil is leaking yet I dont know why? also when this problem started I would loss power in 1st and 2nd gears';Need some advice on what or how to fix oil leak coming from top end of heads on Harley?

1st are you sure it leaking from the heads and not the covers. If you don't let the bike warm up properly, you will blow a gasket. Harley makes a new copper gasket, that is stronger than the old ones. The rear jug, gets hotter than the front. Not a big deal if your moving faster than a walk or on a windy day. But if your stuck in traffic it may leak oil more often than the front. Put in new gaskets.
You know why !! Its a HD they leak oil ! The engine is probably toast thats why the loss of power and leaks. Time for a top end rebuild. That will be about 5 grand at a HD stealership.
Otherwise trade it in for a Victory and expect at least 100,000 trouble free miles
