Can you fix a car with too much motor oil?

And how much will it be?Can you fix a car with too much motor oil?
You did not say what year or make car. First determine why it is over full. If accidentally over filled with oil simply drain out the excess and go on.

If the oil level is over filled with gas, water etc you have a serious problem and need to tow it to a shop for evaluation.

Do NOT start of drive this car if gas is in the oil, you can destroy the engine or have an explosion and blow the oil pan, rocker covers and possible other damage to the engine, maybe even cause it to burn the vehicle while you are in it.Can you fix a car with too much motor oil?
take off the oil cap and drive til its at the correct level. Check every 15 -20 miles.
just drain the oil. and look at your manual for the correct amount. and always put oil in your filter before you put it back on.
You can fix the car by draining the excess oil. It isn't an expensive procedure, and you can do it yourself. (But as hithere2ya said, be sure your oil pan isn't over-filled with gas or water, and DON'T start your car if it is!)

To drain the oil: Under your car, there will be a large bolt on the side of your oil pan. Loosen it until fluid drips out; if the fluid is red, re-tighten the bolt, because you've found your transmission pan. If the fluid is black or a clear amber, you've found your oil and can proceed with the steps below:

1) Place a bucket underneath your car and bleed out the amount of oil you think necessary

2) Run your car at a fast idle for about 1 minute, then shut it off and let it sit for about 1 minute

3) After wiping off the oil dipstick, re-check the oil level.

4) Repeat steps 1 through 3 until the desired oil level is achieved.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, Jiffy Lube or any garage can do this for you for a very small amount of money. I couldn't imagine it taking any more than $15-30 (U.S).

I would get this problem fixed quickly either way. Too much oil in an engine can damage it; the crankshaft will whip the oil into a froth that won't circulate in the engine, causing the block to overheat.
you can blow seals and gaskets at the very least when overfilled.how much depends on the damage and the type of vehicle
drop some oil out.
Too much motor oil? I over filled the oil on my car once. All I did was drain it and then fill it to the proper amount. I suppose it was due for an oil change.
