First, that is a MYTH-it is good old corporate oil of America that gouged us Americans. American oil companies saw the biggest quarterly profits THREE years in a row in the last three years. Do you realize oil has varied very little per gallon during this period up to, and, including the present-so ask yourself WHY have gasoline prices dropped about half in the last 4-5 months-you have it-good old American oil companies have quite gouging American, NOT THE ARABS. I don't think the Russians and Chinese would like it if Americans took it among themselves to hoard the oil.Something else to think about- the world only has enough KNOWN oil reserves to last about 15 years if usage does NOT change drastically-then what?Are you going to blame that on the Arabs to? Take responsibility and LOOK IN THE MIRROR.
Stealing seldom benefits the thief in the long run.





Arabs are likely to resist this kind of thing even more than they've resisted US invasion of Iraq. And that kind of resistance would be very costly for USA. Much more costly than they pay for their oil now.





Also, most of US oil imports come from Canada, Mexico, and Venezuela. Arabs export their oil mostly to Europe and Asia.
We already tried to do that in Iraq.
