First thing is have you done anywork on your bike? If not and the leak is on the left it could be excess lub from the chain. The small space where the chain picks up the drive from the engine cog can get jam packed with old lub and eventually it will seep out.
The other possibility is that the oil is leaking down the clutch operating rod due to the seal having worn or been damaged.
I'm assuming it is oil.
