How to fix oil going through the air filter?

specifically on a yamaha xt 225. is it even something i could do in my garage or would a shop normally fix itHow to fix oil going through the air filter?
What ';tree'; said.

The crankcase breather tube is sometimes routed to the air box (so the engine will burn the oil fumes instead of letting it drip to the ground).

If the crankcase is over filled with oil, it will be escape into the air box.

Check the oil level.

I'm not sure if your bike is set up that way.How to fix oil going through the air filter?
Check the level of your oil, make sure there's not to much. Sometimes the oil pressure will be to high with to much oil and it will come out the filter.
DSF1234 seems to have the solution, and have you even thought of keeping air from getting to your oil? So put an air filter then an oil filter and another air filter....
Put a small K%26amp;N filter in the hole where the crankcase vents.

I, too, think your crankcase may be over filled, a little.
Another vote for the oil level being too high.
install an oil filter in front of it. this will eliminate oil from getting to the air filter
